Planner from within the Construction Industry to work in the Estimating Department

Salary: R90 000 CTC

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary Degree / Diploma
• Minimum 10 years’ technical experience within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction programming, project sequencing, contracts, scheduling and reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and construction planning systems
• Strong analytical, communication, planning and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and administer detailed construction programmes and schedules for tender and live projects
• Prepare tender programmes aligned to project scope, timelines, resources and project complexity
• Monitor project progress, conduct programme updates and track critical path activities
• Analyse delays, schedule impacts and support the Extension of Time (EOT) and variation claims processes
• Coordinate with Contracts Managers, Site Teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate project reporting and programme alignment
• Review resource planning, budgets, timelines and construction methodologies to optimise project delivery
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships through professional communication and collaboration
• Identify risks, constraints and opportunities affecting programme performance and recommend corrective actions
• Produce project reports, programme revisions and progress updates for management review
• Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team culture while adhering to company standards and safety requirements
