PRINTER CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER - SANDTON

JOB DESCRIPTION:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for the effective management of the Customer Service Center, providing support to the Service Manager to ensure operational efficiency within the service and parts department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management and development of Service Controllers and Field Technicians
Achievement of annual service and parts targets (revenue, contribution margin and business margin)
Monitor and manage all processes for service jobs and parts orders
Exercise good operating expense control and management in line with set budgets
Oversee the project plan for each installation
Monitor SAP installation job in terms of the correct cost allocations; warranty; fair dealing and ensure all contracts are loaded
Analyse and report on final costs
Monthly management and reporting of customer contracts
Manage and maintain positive relationships with customers and external suppliers or partners
Evaluate customer satisfaction levels and develop improvement initiatives for Service and Parts business
Monitor customer surveys and engage with customers accordingly
Ensure customer complaints are logged on the Dispute Resolution System to ensure adequate tracking and investigate improvements

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Relevant certificate/degree or similar qualification and/or extensive and relevant on-the-job training
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an industry that sells capital equipment, do the servicing thereof and supplying of parts
Previous experience managing a team of Service Controllers and Technicians
Sound understanding of revenue, contribution margins and business margins
Good negotiating skills and the ability to manage change
Working knowledge of SAP
