We are recruiting for a qualified, experienced and skilled Product Manager / Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst who has significant experience in the Retail Industry sector. This role will focus on supply chain / inventory (Large scale – national).

Requirements:

• A Relevant Degree - Essential requirement
• Prior experience in online Retail and Supply Chain highly preferred
• At least 3 years product management experience of which at least 2 years in a product development environment
• At least 2 years agile experience
• High level of proficiency with MS Office packages with proven advanced proficiency in MS Excel

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with the Warehouse Management Systems, Inventory & Inbound Product Lead to define the vision and roadmap of features and services for the Company Group Inventory product. This includes owning innovation and improvements to the products used to fulfil our customer orders and ensure we stand by our core principle of putting our customers first. The role is inherently cross-functional, working closely with engineering, design, operations, various stakeholders and executive teams to bring about product enhancements for our fulfilment network and our customers.
• This role will also have a special interest in further enhancing the Inventory management processes and experiences for our internal & customers. Research and identify new opportunities to innovate.
• You will work with business owners to understand their strategy, requirements and priorities in order to translate needs into recommended initiatives & projects that affect the inventory product.
• You will define and track the metrics and data that will inform all decisions on product features and functionality and create business cases to motivate the prioritisation of these initiatives.
• You will analyse and understand project scope and core objectives through requirements workshops with stakeholders to define business requirements
• You will elicit detailed, low level functional requirements and document these requirements such that detailed technical specifications can be compiled by Engineering.
• Collaborate with technical lead and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyse trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
• You will project manage a team of Developers, BI analysts and UI Designers in order to define development requirements, business drivers and competitive analysis and track the execution of these requirements to final product delivery.
• Evolve appropriate Product Management practices for a responsive, dynamic environment to foster cost-effective execution to commitments
• Be proactive in ensuring that the development and QA teams understand the requirements by attending daily team meetings and initiating functional clarification sessions where needed.
• Setting timelines, driving project schedules and leading cross-functional development teams from design through to release.
• Review the test plan and test scripts to ensure quality and coverage.
• Performing user acceptance testing when needed.
