JOB SUMMARY:
PROJECT ESTIMATOR - Steel Fabrication Works - Jet Park

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Steel Fabrication Estimating position – Laser cutting, profile cutting, plasma cutting, bending, and fabrication.

Requirements:

• Completed Matric Certificate

• Post matric in technical field advantageous (i.e. MDDOP)

• Fully PC literate

• Knowledge of materials and machines abilities (for fabrication)

• Able to read complex technical drawings (fabrication drawings, very important – not negotiable)

Be able to quote off of complex technical drawings (fabrication drawings)

• Minimum of 3 years of similar experience

• Go-Getter attitude Responsibilities:

• Management of fabrication projects processes from the beginning until project completion for a varied customer base

• Daily calling of assigned customers / growing current database

• Quoting customers and processing orders

• Handling queries

• Processing orders and making sure drawings/ information is correct

Skills:

• Attention to detail

• Good stress management and ability to work under tight deadlines • Organizational and administrative ability • Good customer relations skills
