SUMMARY:
Project Management covers, based on the PMBoK's nine principles of Project Management, the allocation of responsibilities, task breakdown, budgeting of time and resources, milestones, check points and approvals.

POSITION INFO:

1. Provide project management services with regards to specific projects identified in conjunction with The client.
2. Manage the project according to the project management process.
3. Programme-manage third parties.
4. Provide project management services.
5. Subscribe to the project management methodology.
6. Govern all IT projects within time, budget, scope and the ITIL Service
7. Managing project member deliverables.
8. Provide Consistency, Quality Assurance of projects.
9. Coordinated handover of Projects to Operations.
10. Serve as a central place for providing an organization-wide view (contained within SA and Corporate Office) of the status of the IM projects that the individual is assigned to.
11. Align with agreed on reporting on all active projects that the individual is managing.
12. Conducting proactive stage gate reviews globally to ensure PMO processes and governance compliance
13. Provide support function for Portfolio and planning activities such as ideation and demand management
14. Reporting services related to portfolio’s and programmes
15. Assist and guide the alignment of the PMO methodology to comply with business requirements and PMI best practices and any statutory requirements.
16. Approve project plans, frameworks and methodologies that will be used.
17. Prior review and approval of project plans, milestones, deliverables, assurance, risk and sign-off.
18. Arrange and coordinate user participation as required
Must be PMP/ Prince II aligned & work in IM/ IT space
