SUMMARY:
CLIENT in the ENGINEERING INDUSTRY requires the services of a PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER at their plant in the Kwa-zulu Natal area as soon as possible

POSITION INFO:

CLIENT is looking for an experienced Public Relations Officer to ensure effective implementation of internal and external communication strategies and responsive engagement with multifaceted stakeholders and shareholders, to develop employee relations through various public relations initiatives and activities and to uphold the positive image of the company by eliminating perceptions and positively influencing the COMPANY brand story.

WHAT YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO DO

 Internal and External Communications
 Events Co-ordination
 Corporate brand and image
 Visits
 Budget Control

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements

Matric with Degree/Diploma in Public Relations or Communication;

2-3 years Public Relations experience will be preferred or a minimum of 5 years clerical / administration experience.

Skills

Code EB Driver’s Licence; Computer Literacy; SAP knowledge; Strong English verbal and writing skills; Strong Proof-reader; Knowledge of the Adobe Software for Design Work; Efficient in Event Management; Effective in the control of a department budget.

Behavioural Traits

Good interpersonal skills; team player; Innovative; customer focused; Strong Planning and Organisational skills.
