Employer Description A leading residential property developer specializing in affordable housing, lifestyle estates and large-scale mixed-use developments. Job Description The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for preparing cost estimates and cost plans, auditing projects, managing construction revenue and costs, and administering construction contracts. The role ensures effective financial control of projects while maintaining compliance with contractual, legal, and company requirements. Key Responsibilities Measure and certify project work. Manage project cash flow and financial controls. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements. Prepare estimates, budgets, and cost plans. Monitor project costs and revenue throughout the project lifecycle. Administer and manage construction contracts. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project staff. Maintain accurate project records, financial reports, and documentation. Assist with project audits and financial reviews. Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams regarding commercial matters. Qualifications National Diploma in Building or higher Skills Contract law and insurances Quantity surveying principles and practice Basic financial reporting Construction methods, programming, and scheduling SHEQ legislation Basic IR and relevant labour legislation Benefits Negotiable
