Packaging Materials & Systems Administrator

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Stellenbosch/Joostenbergvlakte area is seeking a proactive and detailed-oriented Packaging Materials & Systems Administrator to join their packhouse operations team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Matric \/ Grade 12 Previous experience in a packhouse\/warehouse environment Strong stock control and inventory management skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong reporting and administrative skills Problem-solving and proactive planning Accountability and reliability Very good organisational and time management abilities MS Office and Excel (stock systems advantageous) Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment, independently and as part of a team Strong communication and teamwork skills Own transport and license Willing to work overtime and night shifts during peak season Duties and Responsibilities: Assist System Manager with system administration as and when needed Manage and control packaging material stock within the packhouse environment Minimise excess stock at the end of each commodity cycle Ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained to meet production demands Work closely with production teams to anticipate material needs Coordinate and ensure timely carton folding to support production schedules Maintain adequate buffer stock of folded cartons Order packaging materials in line with company protocols and procedures Record and report data from carton folding machines Capture and maintain data related to carton waste and usage Monitor, manage, and record carton waste accurately Compile and submit daily stock level reports Conduct daily stock counts and reconcile discrepancies PLEASE NOTE : Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
