SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer / Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, supplier relationships, pricing and procurement activities across technical services, raw materials and packaging.
The role will focus on supplier management, negotiations, purchasing, cost optimization and ensuring reliable supply while working closely with Planning, Finance, Quality, Production and R&D teams.

POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Source, evaluate and onboard suppliers. Manage RFQs, tenders, pricing and contract negotiations. Conduct supplier performance reviews and support audits. Manage purchase orders, contracts and supplier data on SAP. Monitor deliveries, stock levels and supply risks. Resolve supplier, delivery and invoice-related issues. Support cost-saving, localization and dual-sourcing initiatives. Assist with CAPEX and project procurement. Maintain strong supplier relationships. Prepare procurement reports and track KPIs and savings. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and audit requirements. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Relevant tertiary qualification. 4+ years' experience as a Buyer , preferably within the Food & Beverage industry. Experience with SAP - essential . Intermediate MS Excel - essential . Experience with flavours or technical procurement would be advantageous.
