Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically adept Packet Core Operations Engineer to manage, monitor, and optimize the performance of our mobile core network infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring high availability, reliability, and service quality across 3G, 4G, and 5G packet core domains. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates strong troubleshooting capabilities, and collaborates effectively across teams to resolve complex network issues.

POSITION INFO:
Essential Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in packet core operations within telecom environments
• Strong understanding of 3GPP standards and mobile core protocols (GTP, Diameter, SCTP, IPsec)
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, NetAct, U2000, SolarWinds)
• Experience with virtualization platforms (NFV, VMware, OpenStack) and containerized environments
• Familiarity with incident management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, ServiceNow)
• Solid troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
• Effective communication and documentation abilities

• Vendor certifications (e.g., Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, Cisco) in packet core technologies
• Exposure to 5G SA/NSA operations and cloud-native core components
• Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Shell, Ansible)
• Knowledge of lawful interception and regulatory compliance processes
