Paralegal / Legal Secretary

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established law firm based in Johannesburg North, is seeking a Senior Paralegal / Legal Secretary to join their dynamic team
R25 000 - R30 000 CTC per month, based on experience

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Paralegal or Legal Secretary within a law firm environment
• Excellent typing skills (minimum 80 words per minute) with strong attention to detail – must be confident with transcribing dictations
• Solid understanding of High Court and Magistrate’s Court procedures
• Strong administrative and document management skills
• Proficient in MS Office and legal practice management systems
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage deadlines effectively
• Drafting and typing of legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
• Managing case files and ensuring accuracy of documentation
• Liaising with clients, counsel, and relevant stakeholders
• Providing general administrative and secretarial support to attorneys
