JOB SUMMARY:
SME Finance concern based in Randburg, has an exciting opportunity for a Business Partner / Retired Banker to join their team. Extensive business and relationship banking essential for this role. A candidate who is experienced in developing and maintaining business partnerships and a working knowledge of how business funding works with exposure in liaising with brokers / advisors, accounting firms, incubators, large corporates (Procurement Divisions) and equipment dealers. Extensive exposure in liaising with Executive Management within these partner companies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Successful incumbent will have a completed B.Com (Accounting / Banking) with over 10 years Business Banking experience. KPI's include building, maintaining and growing relationships for the company and provide key insights to various stakeholders within the business. Research and assess potential partners based on the company's criteria; initiate discussions with potential partners; onboard partners; manage relationships and nurture partnerships; track, evaluate and report on partners performance; responsible for partners targets and performance; interface with credit, legal and marketing teams; conduct regular relationship-building onsite visits to partners; interact with business owners and/or senior management; prepare and present on the company as well as it's offerings at public events; and prepare and effect remedial actions on poor performing partners. Exposure to SME's as well as exposure to CRM's an MSOffice tools.
