SUMMARY:
This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Johannesburg, with some work-from-home flexibility. As a Partner Relations Manager, you will be responsible for procurement of the companyâs products and services from regional vendors in order to support internal stakeholders, by establishing and maintaining long-term beneficial relationships and strategies.
this role supports sales and project teams in their growth and delivery objectives.

The emphasis of this position is on strong vendor/suppliers relationships and management experience, together with some governance experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
1) Procurement
2) Partner Relations Management
3) SLA & Credit Management
4) Stakeholder Management - Legal Compliance
5) Cost Savings - Supplier Changes
6) Cancellations

POSITION INFO:
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

Knowledge:Â

Product knowledge of Ethernet, MPLS and Internet
data solutions
Knowledge of ISP/data solution providers and markets
across Africa.
Basic knowledge of telco regulations and legislation in various countries .Â

Ability to build collaborative relationships with vendors for competitive advantage

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in Commerce, supply chain or related tertiary qualification
Project management or service delivery background advantageous Â

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

5 yearsâ experience in telecommunications industry, data networking products (MPLS, Ethernet, WAN, etc)
Experience in procurement from international suppliers, predominantly in Africa and Middle East (preferable)m

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Valid passport
Willing to travel internationally on an ad hoc basis
Prepared to work overtime, if required.
