SUMMARY:

A vacancy for a Patient Services Manager has become available at a hospital in Durban. The overall responsibility will be management and co-ordination of patient services processes and operations of a large portfolio, to ensure the optimization of the hospitals profitability and staff management.

POSITION INFO:

Applicants must have sound knowledge of medical billing and case management processes, ICD10/CPT coding and people management to be considered for this position.

Key responsibilities:

People management
Quality management
Cash flow management
Managing and implementing business plans to ensure optimal functioning
Managing the admissions department and ensure compliance to funder rules
Ensure accurate billing processes
Risk management to ensure sound audit compliance

Education and skills:

Nursing Diploma or Degree (essential)
Registered with SANC (required)
Min of 3 years working experience within private healthcare sector within case management role
Sound knowledge of billing and case management processes, ICD10/CPT coding
People management experience
Good knowledge of medical aid legislation
Basic knowledge and understanding of credit management, planning and budgets
