POSITION INFO:
If payroll accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality are your strengths, this role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of end-to-end payroll administration within a professional, deadline-driven environment.

This is a fixed term 5-month contract based in Midrand.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full payroll lifecycle for monthly salaried employees
Load and process new hires, terminations, and employee changes
Maintain accurate employee master data (banking details, IDs, personal information)
Process maternity leave, including calculations and UI19 submissions
Administer all payroll deductions (garnishees, staff debtors, etc.)
Process expense claims via payroll
Reconcile payroll outputs, including company reconciliations and remuneration lists
Handle and resolve payroll-related queries professionally and timeously
Ensure payroll activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and legislation
Maintain strict confidentiality and employee trust
Contribute positively to overall team effectiveness and collaboration

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Grade 12
Payroll Diploma (advantageous)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a payroll environment
Qualified Sage 300 People Payroll Administrator
Strong advanced Excel skills, particularly VLOOKUP
Working knowledge of Basic Conditions of Employment Act and Labour Relations Act
