JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in the Logistics Industry, based in the Port Elizabeth, is currently looking to employ an experienced Payroll Administrator.  preference given to candidates with NBCRFLI (bargaining council) experience.

Requirements:

  • Diploma of 1 to 3 years / NQF level 6.
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience.
  • VIP Premier Payroll.
  • NBCRFLI (bargaining council) experience preferred

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for capturing the bi-weekly and monthly attendance registers into excel from manual forms.
  • Insert complex formulas for the attendance registers.
  • Ensure accuracy of the attendance registers.
  • Submit attendance register to Financial Manager for approval and formula check.
  • Process leave onto VIP.
  • Ensure all leave forms are submitted and accounted for.
  • Prepare Performance Based Reward (PBR) calculations on attendance register and submit to site HR office.
  • Receive all PBR adjustments from site HR office.
  • Amend and finalize PBR figures and submit to payroll administrator.
  • Prepare stats per fortnight on PBR figures and submit to operations director.
  • Assist payroll administrator with payroll queries.
  • Complete exit documents (withdrawal forms, UI19 certificates and certificates of service).
  • Confirm employment of employees with 3rd parties.
  • Review monthly payroll.
