JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client based in Kempton Park is looking to employ a Payroll Administrator.

Salary: R15 000 - R18 000 per month.

Requirements:

Matric or equivalent.
Must reside in Gauteng.
Relevant Degree or Diploma and/or Certificate in basic accounting/payroll.
In-depth knowledge of SAGE 300 (People) is non-negotiable.
Excellent MS Excel skills is required.
Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting or bookkeeping will be advantageous.
Knowledge and understanding of SAP system will be advantageous.
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
Attention to detail and excellent numeric skills.
Highly organized, systematic and deadline driven.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing all admin relevant to payroll (incl. Commissions).
Ensuring all employees deductions are correctly recorded and the relevant deductions made.
Calculate and pay over third-party payments timeously and accurately. PAYE, SDL, UIF, Prov, Med Aid etc.
Process employee terminations.
Inputting and updating annual salary budgets (incl. bonuses).
Process Provident fund, Med Aid, Garnishes etc.
Loading and updating employee information on SAGE.
SAGE Leave module – reports and checking on monthly basis.
Update payroll module on SAP.
Perform bookkeeping functions as and when required.
Any other ad hoc payroll related duties when required.
