JOB SUMMARY:
Our prestigious client in Sandton, has an opportunity available for a Payroll Administrator. This is a temporary assignment for 4  months.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  • B Comm (preferable)
  • Relevant Administrator / Accounting / HR Diploma
  • 3 years related payroll experience
  • Third party Payments and Reconciliations, specifically UIF and COIDA
  • General payroll administration, queries and filing
  • MS Word; PowerPoint; Excel; Outlook
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Ability to work with numerical data
  • Attention to detail

Duties:
  • Monitoring/vetting of payroll information received from SIP’s to ensure its valid, approved and accurate
  • Perform analysis on SIP payroll data to identify any anomalies and track compliance to agreed pay rates and employee level split
  • Compare actual wage and non-wage costs to budget and identify reasons for variances
  • Analyse exception reports timeously and follow up on unsuccessful wage payments to ensure timeous completion
  • Analyse recipient movements (Onboards, offboards, transfers)
  • Monitor SIPs monthly progress reports against budgetary spend
