SUMMARY:

Are you a payroll expert with a passion for precision? We’re looking for a dynamic Payroll Manager to lead, coach, and elevate a high-performing team while ensuring compliance and accuracy across a large workforce.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll operations for 4000+ employees.
Ensure compliance with all payroll-related legislation and tax regulations (SARS, UIF, SDL, BCEA, and PSIRA/MIBCO).
Develop and maintain payroll policies and procedures aligned with internal controls.
Collaborate with Finance and HR for accurate data flow and reporting.
Prepare payroll-related financial entries, GL reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Manage tax filings and bi-annual SARS submissions.
Support internal and external audits with detailed documentation.
Address complex payroll queries and provide exceptional service.
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of payroll specialists.
Drive innovation and automation in payroll processes.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
10+ years’ experience in payroll management, including supervisory roles.
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and tax compliance.
Proficiency in Sage 300, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with systems like ACUMATICA, Salesforce, ERS Biometrics, and ESS.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
Willingness to travel to branches when required.
