SUMMARY:
A leading organisation is seeking a seasoned Payroll Manager to take full ownership of a large, high-volume payroll function. This is a senior; on-site role offering long-term stability and the opportunity to lead and optimise payroll operations at scale.

POSITION INFO:
Skills:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
10+ years’ end-to-end payroll experience, including team management
Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation
Proven experience managing high-volume, multi-entity payrolls
Advanced Excel skills and hands-on Sage 300 experience
Strong financial acumen, reconciliations, and audit support exposure
Confident leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Job description:

Manage end-to-end payroll for 3,500+ employees across multiple entities
Ensure accurate, compliant, and timeous payroll processing
Lead, mentor, and develop a payroll team
Oversee statutory submissions, reconciliations, and audit support
Partner with HR and Finance to align payroll, reporting, and systems
Drive process improvements, automation, and payroll best practice
