SUMMARY:
A Payroll Manager position has recently become available at a Restaurant Group. The payroll manager will oversee and manage the entire payroll preparation including the management of the creditors team. Ensure deadlines are met, processes are in place and relevant distributions are in effect.

POSITION INFO:

Take control of the payroll function by directing in adherence to compliance and legislation i.e. (BCEA, Labour, Legislation, SARS, Retirement funds)

Establish best practices for policies and statutory reporting and maintain accuracy and relevance

Co-ordinate all payroll activities and manage workloads allocated

Administer and manage UIF and SARS submissions

Manage payroll aspect relating to new hires, terminations, and general staff enquiries

Skills & Experience:

Exceptionally structured

Meticulous

People management skills

Goal orientated

Great Interpersonal skills

High tolerance for stress

Advanced MS Office proficiency

Qualification:

Finance Degree / Finance Diploma

Certified Payroll Practitioner

Minimum 2yrs managerial experience

SAGE 300 and ESS

Previous Bargaining council experience (MIBCO, BCRCAT, BCFOOD) Advantageous
