SUMMARY:
Handle full payroll processing and related HR admin for salaried and wage staff. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth payroll operations.

POSITION INFO:

Payroll Officer

Olifantsfontein, Johannesburg

Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end payroll processing (monthly & weekly)
Resolve payroll queries and manage 3rd-party deductions
Maintain controls, accuracy, and compliance
Process sales commissions
Handle statutory submissions: EMP201, UIF, MIBFA
Reconcile and manage employee benefit payments
Onboard/terminate employees on payroll systems
Extract GL reports and load to finance system
Manage leave administration
Complete EMP501 (bi-annual & annual)
Support audits and maintain compliant employee files

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification
5 to 10 years HR/payroll experience
Experience in manufacturing (advantage)
Sage People 300 + ESS essential; Syspro & biometrics a plus
Strong MS Office skills
Flexible, detail-driven, and able to work independently and in a team
