SUMMARY:
A well-established company based in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced and detail-driven Payroll Specialist to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full payroll function, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing. This role is ideal for someone with 3–4 years’ payroll experience who thrives in a deadline-driven environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Process full payroll accurately and on time (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly)
Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including PAYE, UIF, SDL, and other deductions
Prepare and submit payroll reports and reconciliations
Manage payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Liaise with HR and Finance departments regarding payroll-related matters
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of payroll information
Assist with audits and year-end payroll processes
