JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Logistics industry, has an opportunity available for a Payroll and IR Officer to be based in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Qualification in HR or similar
3-5 years’ experience working with payroll processing
Payroll working knowledge on VIP premier or Sage 300
Computer literature in MS applications
Advanced Excel skills (vlookup and pivot tables)
Strong attention to detail and benefits calculations
Understanding tax principles

KPAs:

Assisting HR manager with union relationships and negotiations
Handling complaints and managing the grievance procedures
Chair or initiating hearings
Prepare BBBEE datasheets
Prepare EE reports
Assist with WSP/ATR submissions
Act as a point of contact in terms of all IR matters under the supervisor of the HR manager
Capturing monthly payroll information
Maintaining related records as per audit requirements
Responsible for IRP5 submissions and tax year-end processes
