Payroll and personal tax administrator

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Payroll and Personal Tax Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll and personal tax administration for a diverse client base. This role requires a proactive individual with extensive experience in payroll systems and personal tax, particularly within an accounting practice environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Administer and process payrolls using SAGE Payroll with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation including submissions to the Department of Labour, UIF, WCC, and the preparation and submission of IRP5s.
• Manage all aspects of personal tax administration, including preparation, review, and submission of returns on behalf of clients.
• Proficiently utilise SARS eFiling and for tax and payroll submissions.
• Liaise professionally with clients regarding payroll and tax matters, providing timely and accurate guidance.
• Collaborate effectively with internal team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with compliance standards and internal policies.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in payroll and personal tax administration, with exposure to working in an accounting or audit practice setting.
• Demonstrable expertise in SARS eFiling and .
• Comprehensive understanding of South African payroll and personal tax legislation and compliance requirements.
