SUMMARY:
Tax Manager - Pietermaritzburg
Our client is seeking an analytical and experienced Tax Manager to join their accounting firm in Pietermaritzburg.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities

Supervision and management of the tax supervisor and tax assistants
Review of work submitted
Delegation of work to subordinates
Handling tax, VAT and PAYE audits
Liaising with clients and SARS regarding the above-mentioned audit assessments
Training tax assistants or article clerks when required
Monthly billing
Dealing with all tax-related queries that may arise

Requirements

Bachelor of Commerce Degree
Postgraduate in taxation would be (Advantageous)
Preferably post articles
2-3 years experience in a similar role
Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Able to meet deadlines and be innovative in a highly pressurised environment
Attention to detail and ability to compile and analyse reports
