POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities include:

• End to end management of performance marketing acquisition activity across Paid Social, Search and Display.
• Leading the business to operate from consumer empathy & insight
• User generated demand and experience (metrics for app downloads and registrations, active users, customer effort score, and cost of acquisition);
• Delivering customer lifetime value from retained and repeating users
• You will work closely with the wider marketing team to optimise audience strategies.
• Partnering with the product team around innovation fueling growth

• They are looking for a low-ego, empathetic, purpose-driven human: A hands-on digital marketer, with deep expertise and experience in performance marketing and active user acquisition.  
• Delivering on digital marketing plans to attract & acquire new users; driving performance marketing, influencer marketing and other touchpoints in an integrated effort to drive user acquisition. 
• Creating measurable impact Driving downloads of their new Direct to Consumer (D2C) app service
• Monitor budget and ensure spend across performance channels is effective tracking key performance indicators of media activity.

Requirements

• Adaptable human with a solid track record of experience on a services brand in retail, financial services, tech or e-commerce.
• Website and mobile app store analytics.
• Experience working on performance media (including app store, Display, SEM and Social) strategy.
• Proven digital marketing master, with experience across all of social content creation, online advertising and app-based marketing.
• • Understanding of social media advertising across major platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
  • Understanding of mobile app store advertising – Google Play, Apple, other android platforms.
• Skills in Search platforms including Google AdWords.
• Analytical and numerate, capable of understanding and analysing complex user data.
• Proficiency in cohort analysis, associated tools and marketing application thereof. 

• Complete degree in Technology, Marketing or Business
• Certifications/Short courses in Social Media, Google and/or other
• Has held responsibility with proven results marketing a consumer-facing digital service.
• Delivery of active user acquisition plans and executions.
• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing.
• Experience with e-commerce, digital app-based business, or performance-marketing media house.

• Healthcare experience.
• Experience in an agile entrepreneurial or start-up environment.
• Experience in English-speaking Africa outside of SA.
• Broader exposure to offline user acquisition of a services business.
