SUMMARY:
Country Director Fresh and Frozen Food. Leader in the market has an opportunity at senior management level for a a well-rounded player, as per the multi-functional role to be occupied. Strong retail and QSR experience is essential with well-established client relations. Experience in export will be a strong advantage.
Provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for Sales, Marketing, and Logistics, with a focus on growth, market expansion, brand positioning, and supply chain efficiency to achieve sustainable customer satisfaction and profitability goals
Minimum 10 years in senior leadership roles within Sales, Marketing, and/or Logistics.

POSITION INFO:

Oversee supply chain efficiency, distribution planning, and cost optimization.
Ensure efficient distribution networks, cold chain integrity, and inventory management.
Optimize transportation costs and delivery timelines.
Implement systems for forecasting demand and managing stock levels.
Drive profitability, market expansion, and operational excellence.
Lead brand positioning, promotional campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
Ensure compliance with South African regulations, food safety standards, and industry best practices.
Set annual sales targets and monitor performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers.
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Manage pricing strategies and product portfolio optimization.
In-depth understanding of poultry production systems, cold chain logistics, and food safety standards.
Familiarity with South African market dynamics and regulatory environment.
Experience in export markets and international trade compliance.
Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems for sales and logistics management.
Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen – Ability to align divisional goals with overall business strategy.
Leadership & People Management – Strong skills in team development and stakeholder engagement.
Analytical & Decision-Making Skills – Ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
Communication & Negotiation – Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Customer Orientation – Commitment to delivering superior customer experience.
