My client is urgently looking for a Performance and Data Analyst to join this dynamic wealth management company in Claremont Cape Town. This suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the Actuarial Partner. The purpose of the job is to assist the Actuarial Partner with financial advisor queries and the development, testing and implementation of various financial solutions to enhance their offering to clients

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Must have a degree in Stats/Maths/Applied maths/performance analysis (IT programming/database/analytics is strongly recommended)
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
Must have Advanced Excel and VBA skills, Matlab, R, Python and C# and SQL will be a distinct advantage
Resolve financial advisor and actuarial queries correctly
Compile, maintain and distribute various management reports
Interpret and assist with the implementation and understanding of various regulations, standards and licenses
Identify and manage potential projects
Maintain internal tools, systems and data
Perform actuarial and financial planning research to answer queries
