POSITION INFO:
Personal Assistant and Events Coordinator - Contractor Role Western Cape - Blouberg Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant and Events Coordinator. This role will involve providing day-to-day personal and administrative support, managing schedules, arranging travel, assisting with event coordination, and handling basic social media tasks. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day personal and administrative support. Manage appointments, diaries, reminders and meeting arrangements. Prepare correspondence, documents, schedules and other administrative material. Follow up on outstanding information, bookings and action items. Prepare and issue invoices when required. Arrange local and international flights. Book accommodation, transport and other travel requirements. Assist with the planning and coordination of events. Create professional event invitations and promotional flyers. Liaise with venues, suppliers and service providers. Assist with event setup and logistics. Complete event-related financial reconciliations and expense summaries. Create and schedule basic social media content. Assist with the day-to-day management of social media pages. Prepare professional graphics, flyers and promotional material. Ensure all content aligns with brand image. Key Competencies: Highly organised and dependable. Proactive and creative. Digitally confident and professional. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook. Experience with Canva or similar design platform. Comfortable with social media platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Own reliable vehicle and valid driver's license. Must be based within reasonable travelling distance of Bloubergstrand and Cape Town CBD. Must be available for in-person meetings and event setups. Comfortable with initial contract position possibly leading to permanent employment.
