Urgent Hire: Pharmacist – Ladysmith
A newly established community pharmacy in Ladysmith is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join the team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for early- to mid-career pharmacists to gain hands-on experience and play a key role in shaping patient care in a growing pharmacy.

POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities:

• Dispense and manage medications accurately and safely.
• Provide patient counselling and clinical advice.
• Support rational use of medicines and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Demonstrate ethical practice, sound judgment, and attention to detail.

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) qualification.
• Current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
• Minimum 3 years of practical pharmacy experience demonstrating in-depth pharmaceutical knowledge and proven clinical proficiency.
• Knowledge of infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate (Unisolve, MS Office).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
