Pharmacy Manager - Hospital

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced Pharmacy Manager at a leading private hospital located in the southern suburbs of Cape Town.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the hospital pharmacy and entities

• Ensure customer-focused pharmacy service

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary pharmacy team

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements

• Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain optimal stock levels and cost-effective procurement

• BPharm degree and registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a hospital pharmacy environment, preferably in an acute care setting

• Good computer skills in MS Office and pharmaceutical software

• Proven leadership and people management experience

• Strong operational, administrative, and financial management skills

• Advanced communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to manage and develop a large, high-performing pharmacy team
