Efficiency Staffing Solutions (Pty) Ltd Registration No. 2022\/876857\/07 Job Advert Duties & Responsibilities Prepare detailed piping layouts, P&IDs, isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, general arrangement drawings, and as-built drawings. Draft piping systems for beverage manufacturing, brewing, processing plants, tank farms, utilities, and related production environments. Interpret engineering sketches, site measurements, technical specifications, PFDs, P&IDs, and client requirements. Assist with pipe routing, pipe supports, valves, pumps, tanks, platforms, gas systems, utilities, and processing equipment layouts. Support engineers with technical drawing updates for Basis of Design, Scope Definition, datasheets, equipment specifications, material take-offs, and project documentation. Update drawings according to site mark-ups, revisions, and project changes. Conduct site visits when required to take measurements, verify existing layouts, and support installation or project implementation. Provide draughting support during construction, commissioning, testing, Performance Acceptance Tests, and project handover stages. Ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and aligned with project specifications and site conditions. Liaise with process engineers, project teams, production teams, contractors, suppliers, and site personnel to confirm drawing requirements. Maintain proper drawing registers, revision control, document control records, and filing systems. Assist with material take-offs and technical information where required. Identify and report design clashes, drawing errors, installation concerns, or possible process layout issues. Ensure drawings comply with company standards, client specifications, quality requirements, and applicable health, safety, and hygiene requirements. Work within project deadlines and assist with urgent draughting requirements where needed. Experience & Qualification Grade 12 \/ Matric certificate. Relevant draughting qualification, certificate, or proven piping draughting experience. Previous experience as a Piping Draughtsman, Piping Draughtsperson, Mechanical Draughtsman, or CAD Draughtsman. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience with piping layouts, isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, general arrangement drawings, and as-built drawings. Experience within the beverage, food and beverage, FMCG, manufacturing, process plant, or engineering industry. Strong understanding of pipe routing, piping systems, process equipment, pumps, tanks, valves, and plant layouts. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, layouts, and engineering specifications. Must be based in or around the Midrand area or have reliable transport to travel to Midrand daily. Must be willing and able to travel to client sites when required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet urgent project deadlines. Must be reliable, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Advantageous: Experience in the brewing or alcoholic beverage manufacturing industry. Experience with stainless-steel piping, food-grade piping, hygienic design, and process plant environments. Experience with 3D draughting software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar. Knowledge of CIP systems, utilities, production lines, processing equipment, and hygienic manufacturing environments. Experience with site measurements, project mark-ups, and installation support.
