Planner

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Civil Engineering Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for civil engineering works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project)
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to gather project data
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks
• Prepare progress reports, forecasts, and recovery plans
• Conduct critical path analysis and resource planning
• Support tender planning and project timelines during bidding stages
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a planner in civil engineering or construction projects
• Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, water, etc.)
• Familiarity with risk management and cost control principles
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
