Minimum Requirements

Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Planning/Scheduling, Construction Management.

• Registration with SACQSP or an equivalent professional body (preferred).

• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 (advantageous).

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in infrastructure projects, ideally across multiple sites.

• Proven expertise in developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules and budgets.

Technical & Software Proficiency

• Proficient in project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

• Strong knowledge of critical path analysis and scheduling methodologies.

• Experience with cost management tools (e.g., SAP).

• Familiarity with contract administration and construction law.

• Skilled in planning and scheduling tools, techniques, and reporting.

Industry & Project Knowledge

• Solid understanding of construction and manufacturing industry practices, standards, and regulations.

• Knowledge of public and private sector procurement processes and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental compliance.

• Experience with general contracting, design-build, and commercial fit-out/retail project models.
