POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Planning & Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks Prepare baseline schedules, recovery plans, and progress reports Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with timelines Cost Control: Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports Monitor actual costs vs. planned budgets and highlight variances Implement cost control procedures and recommend corrective actions Track commitments, expenditures, and cash flow Project Monitoring & Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly progress reports for management Analyze project performance using KPIs and earned value analysis (EVA) Provide accurate projections and recommendations to improve performance Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies Conduct risk analysis and support contingency planning Coordination & Compliance: Liaise with engineering, procurement, and construction teams Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, and client requirements Support audits and project reviews Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial) Minimum 5-10 years' experience in planning and cost control within Oil & Gas or Power Generation projects Strong experience with Primavera P6 and\/or MS Project Knowledge of cost control systems and project management methodologies Familiarity with EPC projects is highly advantageous Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills Preferred Skills: Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Key Competencies: Attention to detail Time management and organizational skills Financial and commercial awareness Team collaboration and leadership support
