SUMMARY:
Planning Manager Heavy Engineering/ Engineering Shop
To create a detailed plan of how parts are to be manufactured. Conversion and close-out of Planned Orders into Production Orders and relevant SAP maintenance, changes and other actions.

POSITION INFO:
Monitor and report on machine loading and capacity constraints and resolving poor machine loadings
Monitor and control the creation of routings from information provided by Engineering using standard routings
Monitor and control the creation of NCR’s and execution there off. (Reduce turnaround time on issued NCR’s)
Conducting a MRP cleanup of SAP operations and Resolve MRP date errors
Excellent planning and scheduling acumen
Good understanding of engineering principles
Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft packages (MS Project experience advantageous)
SAP working knowledge is advantageous
Understanding of ISO 9000 requirements related to production management standards
Understanding and compliance to OHS legal liabilities and requirements
Collaboration with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, procurement & sales)
