SUMMARY:
Our client, within the FMCG (meat producing) sector is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to join their team. This position will report to the Commercial Director.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

The purpose of the position is to manage and integrate the difference disciplines of Sales, Operations and Procurement of all raw material and dry stock, ensuring that it is a seamless process from forecasts through procurement and production plans and that the inputs to the process are accurate and that profitability is maximized.

Statistical demand and forecasting
Project management

Educational Requirements:

Grade 12
B Bus. Sc/ BCom or equivalent tertiary qualification in Supply Chain

Experience and Skills Required:

Experience in perishable goods and FMCG is a must have
Financial or Economic background
Supply Chain experience
Statistical demand and forecasting experience
Strong mathematical and statistical skills
Project management experience
Valid driver’s license
Excellent communication skills
