Planning and Reporting Analyst

SUMMARY:
New vacancy is available for a Planning and Reporting Analyst in the Group Parts Department, for our client in the Automotive Industry, based in Centurion.

POSITION INFO:

Role Overview

The role focuses on planning, reporting, and analysis related to parts pricing, sales incentives, and after-sales campaigns. It supports sales performance tracking, forecasting, and business case development, particularly for after-sales promotions. The analyst also contributes to strategic projects, market research, and operational process improvements across Own Workshop and Over-the-Counter channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage parts pricing and incentive programs
• Forecasting and reporting on parts sales (retail and purchasing)
• Design and execute after-sales campaigns and promotions
• Provide strategic project support and conduct market analysis
• Support dealer operations and oversee compliance with inventory and quality processes
• Engage in packaging development and supplier monitoring

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in fields like Marketing, Sales, Business Management, Data Science, IT, or Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification (MBA/MBL/Honours) is advantageous

Experience Required

• 3+ years in Sales, After-Sales, Dealer Ops, Key Accounts, or Marketing
• Experience with incentive management, OEM/importer environments, and campaign execution is preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced MS Office & data tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python, Google Analytics)
• Strong analytical, communication, and planning skills
• Project/program management and marketing knowledge desirable
• Commercial awareness, team collaboration, and a results-driven mindset
