JOB SUMMARY:
Plant Administrator role available!! Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Plant Administrator to join their dynamic team in East London.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Functional Definition:

To perform and administer the manufacturing disciplines and essential functions for the plant required to ensure clerical/administrative compliance with the company and customers procedures.

Job Description:

Effective front reception duties performed
Collect, sort and distribute mail
Courier documents / parcels
Serve as front-house services for the site
Effective housekeeping of area
Minute taking
Perform effective procurement services (Tooling/Stock) for site
Raise requisitions and generate orders
Procure local components, tooling stock is sourced from approved suppliers
Keep in contact with suppliers about current technical information - ensure relevant utilization in procurement
Ensure customers and tooling is effectively managed and controlled
Follow up on orders with suppliers
Effective administration
Compile approval packs for new projects
Manage and control procurement programs for RFQ to SOP
Ensure pricing stability in line with company policy
Assist in developing supplier in line with company policy
Assist in developing supplier based wrt mutual development of products, process capability and quality assurance
Obtain invoices from suppliers and submit to finance
Raise invoices on JDE
Follow-up on outstanding payments
Courier information to finance weekly
Complete expense forms
Manage stationery
Complete office expense claim forms
Procure staff PPE
Track plant absenteeism and late coming for production
Complete an attendance register
Provide good customer service
Reception/ Administration
Coordinate plant visits / audits
Procurement
Supplier invoicing and payments
Documentation for sourcing new projects

Job Requirements:

Matric
Business or Commerce qualification advantageous
3 years relevant experience in Automotive manufacturing industry
Experience in manufacturing administration applicable or similar position
