SUMMARY:
Are you a CA(SA) or CIMA-qualified numbers ninja with a passion for plant operations and manufacturing magic? Do you speak fluent costing, controls, and KPIs? Have you walked the factory floor, wrestled with variance analysis, and lived to tell the tale?

POSITION INFO:
If you’ve spent the last 5 years elbows-deep in the financial mechanics of a manufacturing plant — and ideally gained some international exposure along the way — then this might just be your next big move.

ð§ What You’ll Be Doing:

ð¸ Costing & Inventory Control:
- Own and refine product costing, standard costs, and bill-of-material analysis
- Work closely with production to manage and explain variances (you'll know when the machine sneezes)
ð Financial & Operational Analysis:
- Provide critical financial insights to plant management and global stakeholders
- Analyse production performance, efficiency, and margin trends like a detective in a hard hat
ð International Reporting & Exposure:
- Collaborate with global finance teams – because borders shouldn’t stop brilliant ideas
- Handle reporting in line with international standards, group policies, and deadlines
ð ï¸ Controls, Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
- Maintain strong financial controls on-site
- Partner with operations to drive process improvement and lean initiatives
- Ensure that the plant runs not just efficiently, but profitably

ð Qualifications & Experience:

âï¸ CA(SA) or completed CIMA – non-negotiable
âï¸ 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment
âï¸ Solid background in cost accounting and financial analysis
âï¸ Exposure to international operations or reporting
âï¸ Sharp business acumen, analytical thinker, with a hands-on approach
âï¸ Strong ERP skills (SAP, Oracle, or similar – you know your way around a system)
âï¸ Confident communicator who can engage on the shop floor and in the boardroom
