JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Metallurgy industry, has an opportunity available for a Plant Manager to be based in the Cato Ridge, KZN area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Proven 5 years Experience in a managerial position in an Industrial environment (Mining/Smelter is an advantage)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid drivers license
Technical Background (Mechanical or Metallurgical) is a differential
Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members

KPAs:

Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them
Coach production team to meet agreed objectives, delivers for best practice results, in his environment
Provide technical expertise to the team.
Ensure an effective interface with maintenance team
Ensure an effective interface with the client
