Platform Engineer

SUMMARY:
My client is an exciting new technology company focused on building real time solutions for multi-currency global liquidity management, FX and international payments. My client has built a talented team of developers, platform engineers and product experts and are now looking for a Platform Engineer to join their experienced platform team.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements

t least 3 years of proven experience automating, managing and securing mission critical infrastructures in public clouds and private data centers

achelor’s degree in computer science or engineering

bility to program (structured and OO) with one or more high level languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby or Golang

proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks

xperience with phoenix environments, blue green deployments and infrastructure as code

xperience with CD tools like Jenkins/Jenkins X, Circle CI and pipeline automation to manage software lifecycle

xperience with AWS/Azure services

xperience administering small Kubernetes clusters (up to hundreds of nodes)

xperience deploying and scaling applications in kubernetes clusters

xperience with terraform and ansible

xperience in the banking industry

xperience with Blockchain

xperience with Azure/GCP/IBM Cloud

xperience with Go language
