POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a Junior Portfolio Accountant to support the portfolio accounting function within the finance team. This role offers valuable exposure to portfolio accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes within a fastâpaced financial services environment.

The successful candidate will assist with maintaining accurate portfolio records, preparing financial information, and supporting reporting requirements. This opportunity is ideal for a selfâmanaged individual who thrives on structure, accuracy, and continuous learning while contributing to effective portfolio oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate accounting records for assigned portfolios
Prepare portfolio financial statements and trial balances
Perform reconciliations and support monthâend accounting processes
Assist with financial reporting and analysis for portfolio managers
Ensure accurate data capture and compliance with internal processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Relevant accounting qualification or studying towards one
1–3 years’ experience in accounting or portfolio accounting
Proficient in Excel; experience with accounting systems is essential
Exposure to financial reporting and trial balance preparation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise workload, manage time effectively, and work independently
High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organisational ability
