My client, specializing in building rich and interactive reports with visual analytics (through Power BI) is urgently looking for a            BI Project Manager to head up a team.  They require a relevant Degree in combination with strong Business Intelligence skills.

My client, specializing in building rich and interactive reports with visual analytics (through Power BI) is urgently looking for a  BI Project Manager to head up a team.  They require a relevant Degree in combination with strong Business Intelligence skills.

Minimum requirements:

• Degree:  BSc/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant field.
• Project Management skills
• Solid experience in MS Power BI with proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist/Analyst
• Strong background in data and business analysis.
• Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• SQL Development and Database administration
• Data Transformation with Python
• Understanding Python Integration with SQL
• Strong Excel skills and Power BI skills
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Meeting with clients to determine requirements.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Brief team on requirements.
• Management of projects.
• Presenting information to the client.
• Build and lead a dynamic and diverse team of data analysts and Developers.
• Accountable for developing, leading, and overseeing the delivery of Data and Analytics services and organisational capability, and ensuring that Data and Analytics delivery is aligned with the client’s strategic business objectives.
• Serves as the Data Analytics technical advisor.
• Develops and gives presentations on the power and value of data. 

• Insights Driven Data & Analytics strategy development.
• Programming Coding in a variety of languages (Dax, SAS, SQL, R, Python etc.)
• Business Analysis (including business process mapping).
• Data Modelling & Data Management.
• Power BI Development (Model, Dax and Visuals).
• Data Engineering (extractions, transformations, loading patterns).
• Descriptive analytics (ability to extract insights and trends from data based on requirements)
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (with Power BI).
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms (Power Platform).
• Machine Learning.
