SUMMARY:

Lead the design and build of highâpower electronic systems for grid-connected solar, battery, and industrial applications. This hands-on role is focused on delivering reliable, scalable solutions proven in real-world environments.

POSITION INFO:

An innovative power electronics and energy systems environment is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to play a key role in developing, validating, and delivering highâpower conversion solutions for utility-scale renewable and industrial applications. This hands-on, product-focused position suits an engineer with deep expertise in grid-connected systems, battery storage, and motor control, who thrives in complex, safety-critical, and highly regulated environments.

Education & Skills:

BEng / BSc in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
3+ years’ experience in power electronics design or product support
Strong understanding of mediumâ to highâpower conversion systems
Experience with simulation tools, such as MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, or PSpice
Practical experience with testing and troubleshooting power electronic hardware
Solid understanding of thermal management, EMC, and protection schemes

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Design and development of highâpower converters and inverters for renewable energy and energy storage systems
Support the lifecycle of gridâconnected solar PV inverters, battery converters, and related power electronics products
Develop and review power stage designs, including DC/DC, DC/AC, and AC/AC topologies
Selection and validation of power semiconductor devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs, and SiC)
Perform circuit simulation, control loop analysis, and performance optimisation
Support factory and site testing, commissioning, and fault investigation
Work closely with control, systems, and commissioning engineers
Ensure compliance with electrical standards and gridâcode requirements
