Work on the design and delivery of high-power electronic systems across grid-tied solar, battery storage, and industrial applications. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys taking projects from concept through to implementation, with a strong focus on building robust, scalable systems that perform reliably in the field.

POSITION INFO:
A specialised power electronics and energy systems company is seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to support the design, testing, and delivery of high-power conversion systems for utility-scale renewable and industrial projects. This is a hands-on, product-focused role, suited to someone with solid experience in grid-tied power conversion, battery storage, and industrial motor control. You should be comfortable working directly with equipment and navigating complex, safety-critical environments. Education & Skills: BEng \/ BSc in Electrical or Electronic Engineering 3+ years' experience in power electronics design or product support Strong understanding of mediumâ to highâpower conversion systems Experience with simulation tools, such as MATLAB\/Simulink, LTspice, or PSpice Practical experience with testing and troubleshooting power electronic hardware Solid understanding of thermal management, EMC, and protection schemes Job Experience & Skills Required: Design and development of highâpower converters and inverters for renewable energy and energy storage systems Support the lifecycle of gridâconnected solar PV inverters, battery converters, and related power electronics products Develop and review power stage designs, including DC\/DC, DC\/AC, and AC\/AC topologies Selection and validation of power semiconductor devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs, and SiC) Perform circuit simulation, control loop analysis, and performance optimisation Support factory and site testing, commissioning, and fault investigation Work closely with control, systems, and commissioning engineers Ensure compliance with electrical standards and gridâcode requirements Apply now!
