SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Professional Civil Engineer (Pr. Eng) to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with standards, quality, safety, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, water systems, and infrastructure.
Prepare detailed technical designs, calculations, and project specifications.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to contractors and project teams.
Ensure projects comply with SANS standards, ECSA regulations, and local building codes.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and quantity surveyors.
Review and approve contractor submissions, technical reports, and design documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge transfer within the team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) with ECSA.
Minimum 5 years post-registration experience in civil engineering within the construction or infrastructure sector.
Proficient in civil engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil Designer, MS Project).
Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.
