Pr.Eng/Pr.TechEng Senior Project Mechanical Engineer (Data Centres)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a Top Employer in the Building services - Data Centre Design sector requires a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer, Dublin - Ireland

POSITION INFO:
This role is based in Dublin, Ireland
We offer up to 6-months remote working
Relocation support provided (Sponsored Visa)

• Minimum 10+ years of mechanical design experience
• Role would be as a senior member of the design team
• Ability to lead projects and be able to take a brief from the project lead on large projects
• Excellent report writing skills and be able to explain complex engineering issues in simple and clear language.
• Good understanding of HVAC and building controls.
• Experience in the design of plumbing and drainage systems is preferred.
• Training and professional development of junior and intermediate engineers working as part of group.
• Training and mentorship will be provided in developing the right candidate to progress on to take on a lead role
• Excellent report writing skills and be able to explain complex engineering issues in simple and clear language.
• Proficient in Amtech, Dialux design software
• Expert knowledge and experience in the following Electrical design areas: Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire alarms, CCTV & Intruder Alarms, MV/LV Power Distribution, Containment and BMS
