POSITION INFO:
Our client is a prominent, well-established national wealth management and financial advisory firm dedicated to delivering holistic financial planning solutions across South Africa. Based full-time at the Head Office in Sandhurst, Johannesburg, the IT: Practice Transition & Data Support specialist ensures the seamless onboarding and migration of client data when new advisory practices join the group. This role combines hands-on data analysis, system integration troubleshooting, and virtual support to regional teams. Key Responsibilities Cleanse, sanitize, deduplicate, transform, and prepare client data for new advisor practices entering the business. Execute bulk client data loads into the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. Interrogate and analyse data proactively to identify potential risks, dependencies, and showstoppers early in the onboarding process. Set up and enable bulk digital signatures and pre-populate electronic client sign-ons on behalf of advisor practices. Troubleshoot electronic processes, system integrations, and daily data flows between advisor offices and clients. Update internal SLA dashboards and manage change control of practice data into the production environment. Provide virtual training and system support to regional advisors and administrative assistants to ensure optimal adoption of digital processes. Requirements Matric certificate alongside a relevant tertiary qualification or IT certifications. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar data support or technical transition role. Prior exposure to the financial services or wealth management sector is highly beneficial. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong technical capability to read code (JavaScript and C#) and working knowledge of JSON payloads and configuration files. Experience troubleshooting technical integrations and CRM systems (exposure to Xplan is advantageous). Familiarity with digital signature tools (e.g., QuicklySign) and reporting tools like Power BI is preferred. Attributes Exceptional analytical and data management abilities.
